David built and assembled this one for me a few months ago. Here's the original NGD thread:

However I had broader goals for the guitar, so I brought it to my guy Ted Vig in St. Paul and he put in a Graph Tech Ghost piezo system.

The controls are electric pickup selector switch on the upper treble bout; Piezo only - mixed - Mag only selector switch & piezo volume on the upper rear; electric tone & volume on the lower rear.

The piezo pickup sounds good on its own although course no one will mistake it for a real Martin. Blends well with the DiMarzio Eric Johnsons, which are brighter hum buckers.

Jack is single output with a mono cable or dual output with a y-cable. With the regular cable it sounds very good played any way through the Electromatic 6161 amp the guitar is resting on.

With a little help from Kokopelli too.

I would like to hear your guitar, post a clip if you can

Oh, the Kokopelli, one of my favorite symbols. It represents, mirth, music, fertility and a dozen or more things I can’t remember.

It is good you have the G version of that symbol on your guitar and not the original.....

Interesting mod Jim. Would love to hear it...
There really wasn't a better alternative for wiring the piezos the way they are?

Unfortunately no. Ted told me the wiring was too short and it was difficult to reach them from the rear rout as it's a semi-hollowbody.
