I was on the verge of buying a gypsy arrow a few years ago. Guys, you know that I love Vs and this one is porn de`la porn.
It was offered on classifieds for "next to a reasonable price" but not cheap at all.
In fact I had to sell a liver to buy this one. But I really thought about it for weeks.

The first reason for not buying it was that I found myself insecure because of it`s over -the -top cosmetics.
Second: I am used to check a very expensive guitar in person before I buy it and this speciem was located too far away from my home so that I could not to try it before I buy it. That was a no-go.

The scarf-head-joint headstock, the many tone-options (you know me, guys: I am a guy who realy enjoys one-trick-ponies) and the way that the neck was glued in was irritating me, too.

Looking back I really regret not buying.
"Over the top" is the way to go. You owe it to yourself and your audience.

Sadly Teye does not offer the V anymore and more sadly here are no fundsony my side to buy one if he ever decided on producing them once more. Fascinating guitars.

Glad that you scored your "very special guitar", Ed.

    EDIT:
    SORRY AUDEPT: WRONG THREAD
