small dogs are electromatics #fightme
oh what a happy chappy
Her name is Sheba, but she's a Princess, not a Queen!
I think sprout and sheba wud get on great. He loves chasing balls too.
When I lived in Melbourne my first dog was a very large Rottweiler, lovely dog. Living in inner-city Sydney is quite confining and larger dogs are impractical. We often have my brother-in-law's dog staying at our house too, but he's a mid-sized Labradoodle. BTW, in guitar terms I think of small dogs as pro-line Juniors!
She's had her own thread for a few years:
oh my apologies. I had no idea she was so famous
Someone let them dry out too much and the fingerboards have shrunk. Its a 5 or 10 minute fix by a competent guitar tech.
Im disappointed that i don't have a MIJ Proline.
Me too. I'm getting by but I still drool over a few.
electros all the way for me, they have been consistent for years!
At times in my life I've found myself financially in a fleeting position to buy the guitars of my dreams. And I've fortunately remained solvent enough to never have to shed them. So, in my 20s I bought a '63 6120, in my early 40s a 6120 DSW and in my later 40s a Jet Firebird DS.
In my 50s (54 yesterday), I've bought a 2420T.
All lovely guitars and I'd consider myself blessed to own any of them.
I wanted to use my first post here after seeing this B. Falcon.
I have this same model, and yes, it is superb, far exceeding my expectations (mine has the Filtertrons, and I love 'em.)
Here's the problem though: there is a layer of clear plastic that overlays the binding on the neck, and unexpectedly it has come loose. I am tempted to just try to just glue it back on, but wonder also if I just take it off, or what function it serves.
Anyone had this problem?
There's 100s of us here that own both MIJ prolines and MIK Electros. We've also seen and played many 1000s more in many different countries.
While we all love and appreciate both there's no one that thinks the Electros are equal to the prolines on any criteria
I do know that with mods you can get an Electro very close to a pro model.
Welcome to the forum, Falconman!
Hmmm, I'm sensing possible danger. I'd start a new thread and post high resolution pictures. I'm not aware of any superfluous clear plastic over the binding. Makes me wonder what it is that's coming off...
I certainly wouldn't start peeling anything off.
Please post pics so we can see exactly what you speak of
I had a MIJ disappointment; my local music shop had a used single cut MIJ in metallic red (sorry can't remember the exact model number). I was going to look at it the next day after I'd seen it for sale and it had gone.
I got a nice G5622T shortly afterwards and I'm really happy with it...maybe a MIJ another time.
Was it this? These haunt me...slipping through my fingers every time
