This past Saturday was the final performance for my Band Lit’l CHICAGO after 25 years. Difficult night to get through but went off like clock work. A gentleman brought me his original one owner 1965 Double Cut 6120 to play. Played it on Feels Like Rain, what a treat. The guitar had been autographed by Chet Atkins.

Lit'l Chicago was an excellent band. Once again, I apologize for missing the show as I really wanted to be there to support you.

I'll be there for the reunion tour, LOL.

Looks like you had a blast Robb. Congrats on a great run with a great band!

Really not sure to be honest. Thoughts go from do nothing to Trio back to nothing to selling everything. Have been invited to play at a small place in Germany with a local bass player and drummer there. Will have to see. Knees, back and elbows need a rest and some medical attention.

Managing, organizing and marketing it are not things I enjoy any longer.

Thanks, it’s had its ups and downs which is to be expected. The band has been everything from a Trio to nine pieces. The basic band is the Trio and we played that a fair bit and added horns, keys, singers, etc. as we felt like it. Nice thing is everyone gets along fine, no personality issues.

Thanks my Friend. My goodness there is nothing to apologize for. Reunion? Never say never, but I don’t know. I do have dinner with my bass player and drummer this week. Maybe they want to get me alone and beat me up.

    Wow congratulations 25 years..

I've been married to my wife for over 25 years , and to be married to someone for that long is not exactly the easiest thing to do just ask my wife,

To be in a band with a group of people for 25 years says a lot about you and a lot about your band mates !

Congratulations sir no matter what you do it's the music that you love ... so if you're playing in a band in front of a bunch of people or just doing it in front of your TV in your living room keep enjoying the music.

They want to plant kisses on your mug! We get special bonds with those we make music with. It's the joining of souls.

25 years together? That's an impressive run Robbie, and suggests bandmates that know how to check their egos. Congrats, and may the next phase of your musical life be as much fun.
