It was on a Gretsch, and Bachman has one of the largest Gretsch collections in the world.

    Placebo.
Several of their tracks are done on Gretsches, they've got a few Jets, a few Falcons, and a couple of other Gretsches including an Anni floating around..

Here's a couple from them @ Angkor Wat, double Gretschy goodness, a '56 Jet & a Falcon all at once. The tracks are slowed as it's a charity gig, not the normal arrangements..

I could rattle off a dozen more rockin' Jet players, but I can't bothered digging up videos for them all so I'll just stick my list here:

    Jeff Beck (The Yardbirds)
    George Harrison (The Beatles)
    David Gilmour (Pink Floyd)
    Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin)
    Brian Molko (Placebo)
    Keith Richards (Rolling Stones)
    Scott McCaughey (REM)
    The Edge (U2)
    Jack White (The White Stripes)
    Malcolm Young (AC/DC)
    Peter Frampton (Humble Pie)
    Brian Setzer (Stray Cats)
    Neil Young (Neil Young)
    Neil Finn (Crowded House)
    Chris Cornell (Soundgarden)
    Elliot Easton
    Billy Zoom
    PJ Harvey

Can any of us take on Tara's list? I am in doubt....

Buffalo Springfield -- that delightful harmonic is Neil Young on a 6120, I believe.
CSNY has bunches of Falcon and Nashville awesomeness.
And Neil's solo album "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere" is filled with Neil on Les Paul backed by Danny Whitten on 6120.

Can ya tell where my schooling took place?

Know any specific songs that were recorded with a Gretsch? I know like Setzer or Young would be easy ones..:)
