LOL. The door was locked and no instruments were harmed in this photographic capture.
That's a great deal but alas, no room in the gun safe for another guitar...after buying the 6120 a few weeks ago I had to stash my strat and LP at my mom's house.
Good luck with the sale T!
Sorry but I’m somewhat new to Gretsch. What bracing is in this guitar? Also, is this the 3 ply thinner top? How does it stay in tune with moderate tremolo use?
2.5 inch body?
These guitars are trestle-braced. 3-ply, yes. Stays in tune extremely well.
And yes, 2.5” body.
Thanks for the reply. I’ll be thinking this over. This a great price for instrument that nice.
Just a note on the Seller. Tony is a very well known and respected Member here (and a great player). Perhaps his only fault known to us is that he buys (and then sells) a lot of guitars (okay, not a fault- and it then benefits other Members such as yourself). He is very particular about his guitars. I would buy any guitar from him with zero hesitation and 100% trust.
Oh, and Welcome to the forum!
Thank you my brother!
Final price drop -
$1750 SHIPPED to your door in the US.
Yes I would confirm that Tony is always buying a guitars then moving them on. He's not in it for profit he just seems to like variety in his life.
This is true. Lol.
Thanks for the kind comments fellas........totally appreciate it!
I think he needs money for booze and gamblin'
Hahaha! I don’t gamble.
No...he just wants more Strats
ok ok, ssshhhhhhhhh,,, so your bar tab at the Club IS astounding Ok, we have to help you now..
Tonys' guitars, they come and go so fast!
I've sold a few Gretsch' in my life too - the one I shoulda kept was a 2013 HR. And yes, any guitar Tony buys/sells is in excellent condition - we've bought/sold with each other.
I don't think the collection is going to go well..
Funny how things work......I’ve got 3 bites on this guitar this morning......
