So I'm still trying to sell the 5 string 'Micawber" relic I built, but someone saw it and asked if I could do a left handed version. I've never done a LH build, but how hard could it be? Turns out it takes me twice as long lol. I have to look at what I'm doing and make sure I'm doing it backwards. I'll confess to a few headaches trying to wrap my head around what I was doing. The client requested left handed pots so I mirrored my 'Broadcaster Blend' diagram and ran it by @hcsterg to see if it was right. mainly the reversed pot wiring. When I wired it, I could only get the bridge pickup live and that was with the switch in the neck position. I reversed the switch wiring (back to normal) and it worked. Anyway, the usual swamp ash body, maple neck. Locking Sperzels. Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbucker and Fender lap steel pickup. Not quite done yet but I want this in the wind on Monday. I can sorta play chords with it in open G and upside down lol.
