Very nice playing! Welcome aboard L
Howdy! Welcome to the asylum!
Welcome L Robbins! That's some tasty playing, and to be able to play so many instruments must be a great joy (as well as a little hard work).
'tiss the one my friend . The TravelingMans Bluegrass festival on June 11 in Tappan , N.Y. It's a small venue / one day affair put on by my Masonic District . We get about 600-800 in attendance , 5 bands , some classic cars , vendors , food and of coarse something to wet your whistle . For some reason this year I'm having a hard time with the cars . I also reached out to the BIG companies for support and the only one who stepped up to the plate was D'Addario . D'Addario was kind enough to send me 20 sets of mandolin strings , 20 set of guitar strings , 20 sets of banjo strings and 10 super tools for changing the strings . Figure I'll give them out to the bands . Stop by and ask for me if your in the neighborhood that day ( I'll be the only guy in a real cowboy shirt )
Had to look that phrase up in a dictionary. To me it sounded like you get some hookers there.
Oh, and welcome, L. Nice playing.
Sorry , must be a States expression ....... meaning - a nice cold beer or a shot of whiskey .
Although I have heard that in Europe that beer is often enjoyed at room temperature
No need to be sorry, it's good to learn some slang. In Germany we like our beer cold, too. The Brits on the other hand ...
@L Robbins, I adore pedal steel, and would love to see a video of you playing, if you didn't mind!
Welcome and great playing
Welcome to G-T. Nice playing.
Welcome to the forum and great pickin'!
I like learning different slang too from other lands . I'm friends on Facebook with Nigel , aka @Trash Kidd ....sometimes I'm afraid to comment at the things he post's .............lol ... but it's all good
here is a little one from a few years back and about 25lbs ago! ha ha ..complete with a few clams
Be very afraid! I scare myself sometimes
thanks for posting. I wish I had the music tastes I have now 20 years ago and had started to learn pedal steel. Nowadays, I don't know if I have the time to learn it. Good stuff!
Welcome to the forum!!
Great playing. Lovely tune. Nice hat, and obviously, beautiful guitar there.
