Ive been going to buy either a Neunaber Immerse MK2 or a Quaverato Harmonic Tremolo Pedal by Zeppelin Design Labs for awhile now.
A good deal on a guitar would come up and I would have to put the expensive pedal purchase off multiple times.
I came upon this and and convinced myself it was a 2 for 1. Since its a Keeley I knew it was going to sound great.
I was correct in that assumption.
The steel drum option also helped sell it for me. Ive had an original song Ive been working on for 20 years that has a Marley/Cliff/Tennors feel to it and have never come up with a good lead fill for it. I think the steel drum sound will do it. I'm close already.

    Keeley Verb-o-Trem Workstation

    6 Reverb types
    1 Slapback echo
1 Octave trick that sounds like steel drums.

    5 Tremolos
    1 Pitch Vibrato
    1 Rotary
    1 Uni Vibe

I'll need to buy an expression pedal that will allow me to control the rate of reverb decay.
4 controls for each of the 16 different effects.

The 6 reverbs are all you would expect from a Keeley product.
There is no Wet Reverb or Shimmer option like the Neunaber.
The Harmonic tremolo is inferior to the Quaverato IMO. Ive never heard a harmonic tremolo that matches the Quaverato's unique tone.

There is so much going on option wise with this pedal it will be a while before I get a good feel for it.

Here is how Im set up with it currently.

The $20 Mosky OD (Klon Centar clone) is real sweet.

If you have any questions dont be shy. I will try my best to answer.

That's a killer pedal! I also have a 20 buck overdrive that sounds great, the TomSline Dumbler.

Beautiful! I readily confess that I'm reverb/tremolo/delay obsessed. This looks like a playground for someone like me.

Thanks for the mini review. This year I’m chasing different Delay types. But I’m going to keep this pedal in mind for next year as the focus is going to be chasing Reverb effects. I’d like to find one that covers Hall, Room, and Spring really well.

If you want a variety of delays, the Stanley Blue Nebula has a lot of interesting delay emulations.

Thanks, I’ll check it out. Right now my list includes both the Catalinebread Adineko for sure and it’s a toss up between the Catalinebread Epoch and Strymon Volante. On one hand the Epoch is a duplicate circuit of a real Echoplex circuit to include orange caps and is likely tops for Tape to me, but with the Volante I get the bonus of the Echorec. I feel like your bucket list but with Delays instead of Reverbs. I’ll look into the Blue Nebula for sure as I’ve only heard it mentioned and don’t know what it’s really about.

The bias varying tremolo on my Winfield Tremor is the best sounding trem’ I’ve ever heard, but that’s only on one of the five amps I use. I have a recent Boss Tremolo pedal, which does quite well, but I really like the idea of a tremolo and reverb combined. It sounds like the Verb-o-Trem can handle slapback too, so now you have the trifecta.

If I might ask, what are the physical dimensions of the pedal?

If I can beg Freshy’s indulgence, the Blue Nebula is basically a system designed to cover all of the Hank Marvin delay effects, which use Meazzi tape echos and Binson magnetic drum delays. It also has a excellent emulation of Abbey Road’s Plate reverb, plus all sorts of other possible effects.

It can be setup on the fly, or you can store patches and have all of your presets ready to go. I create patches and them name them for the songs they fit, so the pedal also serves as a set list. Here’s a thread: http://www.gretsch-talk.com/threads/stanley-fx-blue-nebula-delay-and-much-more-pedal.172324/

Sounds like it offers a lot. I like the idea of being able to store presets too. :)

This is the Quaverato Harmonic trem sound Im looking for. Im not sure how much the sound is shaped by little 2 Watt Amp he is playing thru though.

That sounds delicious. Do you still rate it stacked against the pedals in this vid?
