I can see this become a shortlived hype in advertising and more befittingly... at mortuaries.
So there are no longer any living actors trying to make a living so they have to make digital actors? Last I checked there are a lot of living actors that need work.
Same here, and I think you're right to question how much anybody is really going to go out of their way to see a fake James Dean.
Im not that young, only 7 years younger than you
Nothing's new in Hollywood.
They keep remaking old movies, rehashing the same things over and over. How many superhero/vampire/disaster/rom-com movies do we really need? Even tho Ted Turner, who colorized tons of old movies, has his network TCM run the original black and white versions. Go figure.
James Dean was from Fairmont IN. My old boss went to school with him. JD's the town's main claim to fame. The character of Phillip J. Fry in Futurama is dressed like JD. He acted in three movies, playing roughly the same character in all three of them. Had he not had such a tragic end who knows what he'd have accomplished?
Leave the dead as they are. Things like this just demean them and their legacy.
yeah I understand that fascination.
Other side of the coin is.......
let the man rest in peace and his legacy depend on what he did himself
If they can get Stanley Kubrick to direct it I'll be impressed..
Ok, that cracked me up!
