Ibanez Artcore? Any good?

    Most here have said the pickups are the weak spot on an Artcore. Gretsch players have been known to swap a pickup or two, as well as a bridge on occasion. No big deal. Artcores offer a lot of bang for the buck, even if you need to upgrade the P/Us.

    yes... pickup upgrades are not unheard of. Before I jumped head-first into Gretsch guitars, I tried to convert an early Artcore into one! Ibanez MOdded.jpeg

    IMG_2660.JPG This is my Ibanez am 93, with stock super 58 pickups. I will NOT be replacing them. They sound great.

    I had a red AS73 that I bought off a friend for $200, and I couldn’t get along with it. I traded it in for my tele and it was crazy how much value I got in trade. I did NOT see that coming!

    Right on man, i like seein y'alls clips too. I'm a luddite when it come to posting music unless my wife helps or I'd probably do more.

    I had a black AS73 ... it was a fantastic guitar. Beautiful. Flawless.
    I regret letting go of it.
