I have read one biography. I bought it. It was called Young Winston Churchill. That was a great read!

Now I finally have time to read all of these books, even though I am very dependent on these spectacles.... Right Rod?

Dr Mrs Daddy is a big fan of old books, and currently she chairs a fundraising society to replace books that have gone missing from a local 17th century collection. Every book in the collection is older than America!

I have some of those as well and Martin.

List some more off and I might be enticed. I am a Mandolin Guy first though as much as I like guitars Mandolin comes easier for me. I don’t know why but when I figure it out I am sure it will improve my guitar.

If someone said, "That's Funny.", My "punny" Dad would ask, "Funny HaHa or funny peculiar?" Still comes to mind.

  15. So, I work in an alternative school. One student I helped a lot this year was attention deficit, off task much of the time, and really quite interesting. He came from a ranching family.

In the middle of biology class, he blurted, “Hey, have you ever drank milk right from the cow? It tastes way different!”

He told me he’d bring some fresh milk in for me to sample. Never did, for which I believe I am grateful.

Then, another day he asked if he could use the restroom. As he was exiting the classroom, he turned and said, “Hey, what do you call a bull that’s masturbating?.... Beef Stroganoff!”, then left the room.

Not a new joke, and was sooooo totally inappropriate, but, to me, at the time, very amusing!

Such are the joys of classroom teaching.

After 30 years as a teacher, I have to say, I kind of appreciated it.... Kind of a lot!

Agree -- I have a few, including a couple of FAVORITES about a Gretsch 6120something and another about Gretsches of the 1950s.....
Those are my FAVORITES and we need MORE of those.

Lesser books in my home include stuff by Scott and Bacon, along with one called "Me and My Guitars"..........

    I love reading.
In my childhood I was a member in three libraries to feed my hunger for books.
Nowadays I enjoy reading biographies and nonfiction books. I alway have a big book at hand.
Since the music related books are mostly written in english language it has the sideeffect that I can keep my english skills up that way. That`s a plus.
Last bio that I read was Paul Stanley`s "Face the music". After reading this all my sympathy for this guy is gone. What a sniveller...
