    I keep our condo at around 38% in Winter and each guitar has a clay puck style humidifier in the case. All works well. The case for my LP Special is I guess you can call form fitted so no place to put the humidifier except the headstock area. Still seems okay. They all get the boards lemon oiled a couple of times over the winter too.

    Yes, I have looked into them but the long term issue is plenum rot or I should say used to be plenum rot. I haven't researched those in close to 10 years maybe it isn't an issue now. I'm going to check with the manufacture of my geo system.
