Hello people of the forum. I’ve been a reader of the forum for some time but just now joined. Lots of knowledge taken in already. I’ve recently purchased a 1967 Country Gentleman. And I’m looking at what is out there for tuners. Ideally looking for a drop in option. I don’t care if it’s vintage correct, just looking for a quality solution. If anyone knows of a good way to go I’d really appreciate it. I’m glad to finally have joined the forum, thanks for having me.

Howdy from Baja Michigan! Welcome aboard!
Make sure your nut is right before going to new tuners. The nut's 90% of the issue usually.

Where in Michigan are you? I know the SW corner pretty well. Family's from Dowagiac (an Indian name that sounds Polish), I worked at WAOR-AM/FM in Niles, and have family in the Detroit area as well.

Welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your new-to-you Country Gent. FYI, we love pics here.

As for tuners: I'm a big fan of Hipshots. I put them on all of my Gretsches. They're great tuners, and they come with a set of universal mounting plates which allow you to mount the tuners without drilling any new holes. They also make a full line of tuner buttons in different styles.

They come in modern and vintage sizes, so if you go this route, double-check the size of your tuning post holes before ordering.

I buy mine from a shop called Sport Hitech. They're priced a little lower than the Hipshot online store and I'm happy with their customer service. I have no affiliation with them—I'm just a happy customer.

they aren’t a drop in for grover sta-tights, as i’m learning with my 6120tb-de.

the grovers are 6mm, vintage hipshot 8.5mm

What's it got now? I believe that year had the big kidney button tuners originally.

Welcome to the forum Winger. Sorry I can't add anything about the tuners as I don't know the 67 Gents, but you have a start in the previous posts.
Good luck finding what what you need!

that being said, i adore hipshots and loathe grovers. i’m on the fence about having my 6120 reamed out for the hipshots - the potential for finish cracking is scary, y’all.
