You totally need to get that
I recently turned the big 50 but am still surprised when I find myself in situations such as being at a store and a parent with a child that wanders in my way tells the kid, "Watch out for the man."
I look around for an adult and then realize I'M THE GROWN UP she's 's referring to. ME? I'm a 50 year old boy! Even as my body is systematically breaking down, in my mind I feel like I'm still in my early 20's.
And yes... professionally I do lie about my age and do color my hair when needed. It is, after all, show-biz.

You probably MEANT to say,"......This poll confirms that Gretsches appeal more to mature children...."
I share mine with Lennon but was born Ten Years After after him...
I think I'm one of the few young bucks here
And just make sure you stay that way.
Distressingly few. Don't you have some Gretsch-playing buddies you can get to sign up?
I'm 18, though my stupid driver's license insists that I'm 60 - as does the mirror, and my knees, and my lower back, and...
I got my first, and second, Gretsch in 2012 and haven't bought a guitar since. Between my PRS and Gretsch guitars, it's hard to get excited about getting more.
I'm 51 this year, got my first Gretsch at 17 (63 Tennessean)
Bought a few and sold a few over the years but essentially, have been a Gretschman for 34 years now.
I want my '62 Corvette back!
Thank you everyone that voted and/or posted. Wonderful responses, some real funny and fascinating folks here. I really am enjoying "getting to know you all", even though we may never physically meet in this lifetime.
Keep 'em comin'
I'll be 69 (which I would assert is the "new 39") as of the latter part of this month. I got my first Gretsch about 3 - 4 years ago, and currently have five of them. But i still love my Gibsons, too. I have in recent times played in a soul/R&B Band, and am currently in a blues band. I also play doghouse bass in a country band.
I'm 44, but here I'm 46.
If you want to know why East Asian age reckoning isn't cut-and-dry and doesn't adhere to everyone's date of birth, Google & Wikipedia should be able to help you out.
Always glad to hear from a Doghouse player.
Best wishes. By the way, my wife has turned me on to Vitamin E ointment. You'll probably understand.
I'm afraid I don't get it......never heard of "Vitamin E ointment." Is it something you can explain in mixed company?
Turned 40 this summer.

Glad I saw this when I did so I could still check the "50-59" option. In a couple weeks, I'll no longer qualify.
I turned 39 on Friday. Weird.......getting older.......!
Re. vitamin E ointment...can't stand the smell...
