Absolutely praying for all the good people in the path of Florence.
Praying for those in the path of Florence, and Ompong in the Philippines.
The coast is getting absolutely slammed. I'm near Raleigh, and so far all we have had is some wind and a bit of rain. But, of course, the worst of it won't be here for some hours yet.
I keep you in my prayers, friends.
My dad, 86 and on oxygen, is in Charlotte. I was there during Hugo in 1989. All those pine trees fallen everywhere. What a mess. I'm not thinking it will be bad that far inland this time.
Lots of poor folks in the eastern Carolinas. They'll really take a beating financially. Prayers for everyone's safety.
Good thoughts and prayers sent!
I would guess the rivers will be flooding the lowlands for days after the storm passes. Mother Nature my my.
