Semper Fi brothers and sisters. To those still here and those gone too soon.
Semper Fi to all you Marines
I have spent the day coughing and not talking much because I can't, lost my voice, and looking at posts from guys I was in with. I sure would like to give Bootcamp another shot even at my age. The first time around it wasn't the physical that I found hard, I think I got out in worse shape then I went in, but the hard part was all mind games. This time around I am sure it would be the other way around. I didn't even watch Sand of Iwo Jima which I have always done on this day. Slept too much.
Proud to Honor you brave soldiers.
I appreciate the sentiment but as many don’t know soldiers are army, Marines are Marines.
My apologies. Still... very thankful.
My son and son-in-law are both Marines, so this was a day for the family to take time to remember the birthday.
Thanks for the thread Bertotti!
OOH-RAH! Semper Fi!
My son and his wife are both Lt. Col in DC. Before that Afghanistan.
