    I just bought a used but "mint" 5220 Pro Jet off of Reverb. Beautiful playing and sounding guitar. The issues is that the volume and tone pots are iffy at best. Can you recommend a good set to buy? Would love to buy as a complete set.

    The only pot on my 5220 that I feel is inadequate is the master volume, I'm not sure if it's the pot or the capacitor though.

    Hi @BoneDigger ,

    The way I use to offer a progressive, spreaded control with pots on a Tone Pot Gretsch harness :

    A500K = master volume (A = LOG) + optional 120K+1n2 treble bleed
    A500K + 22n = master tone (A = LOG)
    C500K (x2) = pickup volumes (C = REVERSE LOG) + optional 1n (or 1n2) treble bleed

    Schematic :

    It's what I have done on my G5220, among others - the treble bleed wasn't already replaced by 120K+1n2 :

    But it's me, OK ? :D
