    Hi everyone,

My name is Len and I am new here. I am the proud owner of a 1967 Chet Atkins Tennessean that I am in the process of restoring. I've been building guitars since about 1993. I own several instruments with my favorites being my 1929 Kay Upright Concert Model Bass, 1960 Silvertone Stratotone, a custom strat, my 1979 Guild B-301 Bass and my Guild D4 Westerly made acoustic.

I have a few items for sale from my build specifically (2) repro Tennessean pickguards, a couple of polished stainless steel pickguard brackets and some long style reproduction truss rod covers. All on Ebay right now.

I am looking for a bridge position HiLoTron if anyone has one as well.

Looking forward to learning and sharing from all of you here.

As you wish Meistro 56.......Here you go. Sorry about the cell phone pics. Here are a few of mine.

1979 Guild B-301 Bass, My first guitar that I made from a chunk of black walnut, a 2000 Danelectro Danoblaster, 1960 Silvertone with Bigsby, Custom Fender Strat, 1989 Ibanez Frankenbass fretless.

Same but with my 1996 Guild D4 Acoustic and my grandfathers early 1970's Japanese Kay 12 String.

My latest project. The 1967 Tennessean. I only need the bridge position HiloTron pickup to complete it at this point. TV Jones harness and the neck position pickup are waiting to be installed.

Hi Len! I just joined this site a few minutes ago myself. It looks like it could be very interesting. A good way to share interests and information about guitars/gretsch. I have a 1997 Tennesee Rose and am interested in the older style Chet Atkins pick guard if you can supply that it would be great. The guitar is beautiful and plays great, but that would be a nice added touch.

    Best Wishes,

    Sonny

Thanks all. I should have more pics of the Tennessean as she get done up. I received my HiLotrons yesterday and I am waiting for my TV Jones harness as well. Then it's a matter of getting the soldering iron out and finishing up.

Go Steelers. I grew up in Shaler Twp. Pittsburgh is home to one of the coolest Tennessean wielding garage rock revival monster guitarists. Greg Kostelich of the Cynics. I think that their Rock & Roll album is one of the best albums of the late 80's.
