I stumbled on this ended listing.
What a beauty.
That is gorgeous.
Lovely, only thing that could make it better is if it was Cadillac green
. . . and cover that lovely flame?
Beautiful 2-tone flame 'burst!
Yes....... Well, maybe let it show through a little.
OK, I’ll meet you halfway; transparent Caddy Green Stain.
I love Cad green, but that flamey sunburst is a stunner in its own right.
How about gray primer?
.... hope a case is included .................. lol ( just had too )
Along with a pick and instruction book.
I've seen old gold tops where you could see the figuring through the paint.
What, no advocating for the jack plate? You're slipping Rich.
Syncro, that really is a beautiful Gretsch - one that could easily be on the dream guitar thread.
Looks spectacular. I am not aware that there were Country Clubs made with flametops.
I wish Gretsch would market a nice traditional looking jazz archtop like this today! Beautiful!
Here's a couple of friends of mine...
Both purchased off the GC Used List (and for a very reasonable price).
Without the instruction book you wouldn’t know which end you had to blow in.
