Sorry if this is a repost. It’s hard to keep track of multiple threads with the NAMM news. They’re all specific model thread names.

This is interesting for P90 lovers on a budget.

Interesting. How much you reckon would $819 MRSP convert to in $ street?

It looks like $600 new. With patience maybe less in a year on a used one if it comes up.

Tnx. Hmm, tough sale with $500 Epiphone Casinos and ES339 P90 around.

Or the Epiphone Riviera P93. Those go for $400 used and they have an extra pickup!

Laurel fingerboard? Anyone had any experience of these?

Laurel fingerboard? Never heard of it. Is it like a composite? I was gonna make a Laurel or Yanny joke, but never mind

Interesting how the neck pickup is level with the body and the fretboard seemingly rests on the body. Looks streamlined(ohhh) and helps with playing notes higher up.
I never noticed that before, then again, I don't own a Streamliner. Are they all constructed this way, or is this a recent development?

I've got two guitars with P90 pickups. One is an Epiphone Wildkat and the other is a Fender MIM Mustang 90. I really like P90s because of the clarity and the low end they produce from the neck PU. I especially have had interest in the regular line Gretsch Streamliner with the P90 in the bridge and the standard Broadtron at the neck. It is the Jr. size semi hollow body and seems like the best of both worlds to me

Will be looking for reviews on this one. Love P90s and love the gretsch centerblock doublecut shape. Would much rather have this than its epiphone equivalent.
