Hey guys, been strugglin a bit with my VOXAC15CA to find a sound. Thought this might help others. I could always find a nice clean punch with the Vox and my 5120 (gretschbuckers) and my electrojet(blackface), but was struggling to find a nice mild dirty. Posting for anyone this might help. I found a really good sound running as follows. : Guitar to Mystery Brain, out to VOX, OCD in effects loop (trs cable). Vox didn't like OCD pedal in front, or behind the Mystery Brain, but sounds great in the loop! I also flipped the db switch inside the MB, resulting in a much desired affect on the overall tone, took the harsh out.. . Hope the included pics help someone in the Neverending tone search!
Should clarify, this is in the Mystery brain loop, which I believe puts it after the brain, and before the delay,, Tavo, correct me if I'm wrong here,,,, but either way, OCD pedal is much sweeter this way.
