I just noticed Fender’s got two limited guitar cases. Perfect for all the surf lovers out there (I can think of a few on here). The Sonic Blue looks cool too. Sort of makes me want to get a new guitar to match.

OMG that green is incredible! I am mostly sold on coffin cases though, a bit bulky but lots of storage and very sturdy for my uses.

I need the Surf Green case for my Sage Green Strat I struggle to bond with. Lol

Nice but only standard quality. The difference between those cases and the G&G cases is huge

Fender Marketing in action. You're thinking about a new guitar for one of these cool cases! Lol

Dang cool cases. Hmmm, a nice Esquire would look good in one of them at my house.

    Oh Boy.

Yeah, cool looking but when I ran into one of the Surf Green ones at the local GC I was dismayed to find it was one of the Chinese made ones. For the price I'd expect a G&G myself. Still seemed like a nicer MiC one & a pretty good hardshell but still had the toxic smell you'd expect & similar hardware/etc. to the standard amp logo ones.

I wonder why they still produce those darn smelling cases (and I‘m really not sure if they’re nitro safe). There are cheaper canadian cases made in medium/good quality but nice smelling (and nitro safe).

    I really like those cases.

I have that same basic case in tweed that I coated with Amber Shellac to protect it and give it more charm. It is also my coffee and wine rest while camping with my Tele..

Thanks. I couldn't pass that Tele up for that price - and I really do like it, I've got to admit. The tuners are the only negative. That Squier Surf Green Bullet Tele was $130..

Now, if I had a more expensive Surf Green guitar to put in that $200 Fender Surf Green case... Hmm..

You really have to give Fender credit for genius marketing schemes. While most companies make the same models for decades (and more) Fender is constantly coming up with new stuff to entice us to open our wallets.

Just ordered a warmoth tele neck the other day. That surf green case looks pretty good...

I didn't even look at the cost. I'll stick with my coffins. Black is fine.

I like it but even I have my limits. I mean, I don’t even own a surf green guitar anymore :D

I have the Tweed Case but would love to have a Surf Green Tele with the matching case.

My sonic blue Esquire has a blonde G&G with blue lining. The green and blue cases just seem a little too "out there" to me...

On my bucket list for years is a USA Fender Cyclone From around 2001. They would be perfect for this case. Well, assuming if the short scale is a good fit. Problem is they usually only pop up for sale in Japan. They were only offered for sale there.
