That's great info, thanks. I remember the unfortunate last incident from a few years ago mentioned at the end of that article.
I didn't believe it. Checked with the drummer who stayed with him longer and he says its true. And he is now in jail for allegedly threatening a judge. Not good at all. The Lindy Hop Bop song was recorded at Sound 80. Bob Dylan had booked it for a couple of weeks to re-record Blood on the Tracks. Bob Ivers knew somebody there and when Dylan got sick it was Ice Stars that jumped on the free studio time. And Dylan's engineer volunteered his time.
Saltydog used to play this and talk about his wife and little Gus. Tender moments, romantic, intimate....
Honestly, there are a few love songs that my wife and I share. The Beatles' "If I Needed Someone" is a favorite of mine. How about ANTI love songs? Linda Ronstadt's "Silver Threads and Golden Needles" or Buddy Holly's "That'll Be The Day" come to mind. Tremeloes' "There goes My Baby" is another.
Admin Post Two great choices. Are you sure we aren't separated twins, Doc? Seriously, every so often I find remarkable alignment of tastes. Probably just the fact that we're both Minnesot's.
