On the "show us your pedalboards" thread @JHall55 posted this pedalboard pic with a H9 on it. You could PM him and ask for his opinions.

I absolutely LOVE the idea, but it seems a little bit unpractical to use. An it costs a fortune.

It’s great. I haven’t really got into editing, saving presets etc, but the 99 factory presets sound great. It’s not ideal for live playing, but is a ton of fun to play around with at home.

Everything from Eventide is high-end-engineering. Back in the day we often used a H3000 in the studio and it was a veritable "miracle machine". Amazing.

We still have H3000SE units in our inventory. Engineers are sill requesting them. Great machine!

Sorry I'm a Johhny Come Lately but I have one and I love it! I mainly use it for rich multy delays, ambient soundscapes etc, all the way to low fi tape style delays and slap back delay, and so much more. I did the background music on this jewelry promo video using mainly the H9. I recorded straight into an iPad using GarageBand to simply demo the idea but the demo was deemed by the designer to be good enough, saved as an mp3 file and then it was uploaded into youtube so it is super compressed, but hopefully you'll get the idea. But the H9 may just be my desert island pedal.

I eyed these for a long time but just wants sure I wanted all the options. I have a couple synths and some synths guys I have talked with swear by them but they are seriouslyninto sound design so something with this much controlnreally appeals to them. It does sound great though.

The core model is not even that expensive considering for what you get, but eventually you will want all the options right...?

Funny how that works, not funny haha but funny strange, like they throw out just enough of the good stuff to hook you then start to reel you in.
