I dig Casinos. I’ve owned probably 5 or 6 of them. Riviera’s are too heavy.

Casino. Never had one yet. I need to remedy that at some point.

Those mid-90s Sheratons were the best ones.

I got close getting a Riviera a couple of times. But no Mini-buckers, it's no Riviera.

I've had all of them, including a 1966 Riviera and i think the '01 Sheraton i have now is probably the best of them. This thing really is perfect. 20160326_131513.jpg
I like a Casino but its not even similar, they look similar but that's where it ends. A Casino is really just a double cut ES 125.

I've never tried that 3 pickup Rivi, i think that middle pickup might bug me though, it don't bug me on a Zephyr Blues (now there's a dreamboat) but theres a whole lot more room there.

Actually it's the same guitar as an ES330

Thats my biggest Riviera qualm - I keep whacking that middle pickup with my pick. And I'm not a heavy or aggressive picker by any means.

I actually just ordered a Sheraton II used. Going to use it for more shootouts with these other Epis.

The 50th Anniversary, and a LTd Ed. Japan-only '66 RI Elitist had the minis. Not the same as the NY, but that's as close as it's ever gonna get I suppose.

It breaks my heart, but that's exactly the reason I may to have to let it go. Probably one of the prettiest looking guitars in the stable besides the Black Phoenix. :(

Yeah I wish Epi would make more dedicated Sheraton and Riviera models with the minihums. Thats part of the real classic vintage Epi sound. Even though the new Sheratons and Rivieras (middle pickup whacking issues aside) are really nice guitars.

I love, love, love Casino's. I have a 1961 Reissue, a Gary Clark Blak .n Blu and an Elitist Casino that I can't put down. The Elitist is made in Terada and plays like a Gretsch ProLine.

I had a Riviera. Neck was too skinny for me unfortunately.
