    Hey guys,

I am looking to upgrade the factory bridge on my G5439T. I have used a roller bridge on this guitar in the past and it really wasn`t working out due to squeaking and popping (even after lubrication). I`m also having some slight intonation issues that I have not been able to correct with the factory adjusto-matic bridge. Do any of you have any recommendations on a good upgrade for this?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Lots of great options out there. What gage strings are you using? You could just upgrade the saddles to GraphTech Tusq, or replace the bridge with a Serpentune, or contact @Dave-B about a D-Bridge. Plenty of other options too. Just make sure to match the fretboard radius and string gage, and you should be good to go.

I`m currently using 9`s. They seem to work best with the Bigsby. I have not heard of the D-Bridge. I will have to check it out. Thanks for the help!

I use a Tru-Arc on my Pro Jet. No issues with it at all.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Did this bridge change the tone?

Thanks for the reply. I have been looking at a Compton bridge. Did you notice any changes in the tone? How is the clarity? is it more snappy?

Improved it! It's a stainless steel model. They come in a wide variety---even glass! Check with Tim at Tru-Arc. He'll get you just what you need.
