Dual amps, stereo amps, A/B/Y switch... what's best?

    Thanks... I tried the "Pwr In" jack on the other end of the front panel on the Frontman 65r (Pre Out... Pwr In), and it sounded a whole lot better!

    Edit: Plugging right into the main input... well... The Frontman was okay, but LOUD compared to the Boss Katana. Both should almost be unity volume levels....

    Pre out and pwr amp in are both line level, where a guitar amp's regular input is mike level. You're right---everything should be unity gain.

    After re-reading the OP and watching the video, I think volume pedals might do the trick.
