Joining the colour question craze. All the popular kids seem to be doing it.
Anyone using Gretsch filtertron bezels that are not gold or silver?

Black, stock. 2013 6128T-DCM. I love that this guitar is all black except for the DCM top, metallic hardware and binding.

It is. Of course black is the coolest of all colours.

I really like that Wyn. I notice Gretsch will use coloured bezels to emphasise or offset the contrast with the top, but never to blend in or obscure...

Out of all your multitude of wonderful Gretsches, I think that JR is perhaps my favorite.

Since they are technically not needed I would prefer them to be very decently coloured. Silver, gold, seethrough would be o.k. with me.

Nice wolf tone dampener. I use a piece of white buckskin on my Jazzmaster :)

Thanks, Rob. I'm surprised it didn't make more of an impact on the Gretsch market when it came out. Another rare gem that was largely ignored.

I've done black, black and red, green to match the back of the Annie, blue (several - no surprise), purple, red. All look good with just a few light coats.
