Adam Lambert also did a version on American Idol, modeled on Jules' version:

That was amazing, thanks for sharing! Both bands seemed to be having a good time and Marissa's guitar solos both were great.

(I was in Madison when Butch and Duke's previous band Firetown was still going and I saw the very first Garbage show ever. Shirley said to the crowd, "I'll always remember you because you were my first!" Probably most of the guys in the audience swooned.)

I really liked Disturbed's version of this.

Thanks for this. I had heard it before but could never manage to find who did it.

IMHO, this is the best cover of a Beatles tune...

Tina Turner's "Proud Mary" comes to mind.
The Beatles, and many other British Invasion groups, covered old Motown hits.

I have a pretty vast collection of Beatles covers, and this album happens to be among my favorites.

not a cover but a "remaster" Obla di Obla da... off the "Beatles" album (just happens to be white) I can't stand the new version... seems too pro-Paul. and I never heard the line "and if you want some fun, take o bla di bla da" on the remaster. critics say it's a better album than original... BAH!

I like this one too. She turns it into a cool punk song.

There was a French project named Nouvelle Vague which has made a few records of Bossa Nova covers of punk & new wave songs.
Some are really nice, but it ends being a boring formula.
    Anyway:
