HEY !! @Joe Carducci ... These Billy Bo's...... I've been saying this for years ... when are you guys at Gretsch going to make these in an Electromatic series for us poor folk ??
Finally, light is acceptable this afternoon (it's even sunny springy ) and I found time to get a few pictures.
Couple of Gretsch: G2655T and G3140
And couple of accoustics: steel Washburn and nylon Yamaha

I cannot feel other than their looks sucks. I'd seen so many of them close to DX7 and other crap in stores back in the 80s. I can understand that they may look vintage and cool to younger ones, but I don't like their looks.
How come I missed this thread! LOL

I hear ya....definitely magenta but it kinda suits its effect. Spendy little peddles. Paid $200 per n didn’t think twice about it. Modded one to take the 9v supply.
Good added sparkle with this Delay, clear n spanky bit of boost also.. good Billy analog slap back..
Coin flipper between it and the
But DM3 needs a Brain.
Not a matter of color.
Rather their shape, which looks pretty 80s techno, crap compared to "beautiful" / even DIY-like oldie pedals.
Also reminds me of the kind of music that actually got airplays back in the times. There were real good bands, but that's not what you could hear on the radio or at the supermarket. Terrible period
Hanging out and pickin' with a couple of my old friends today.
The true music of the Times was never or hardly ever played on air, other than on iconic DJ’s shows like LA’s Rodney Bingenheimer’s Rodney on the Rock...or the Sex Pistol’s Steve Jones-lunch hour both now gone the way of the Dodo bird...
My two favourites
I'm seriously jealous of your Duffy Falcon, some day when I run into one that's available I think it will have to be mine...
I've been rockin these 3 for the past couple days & grabbed a shot while I had my menage a trois of Jazzmasters out & about at the same time:
Left to right: '13 Lee Ranaldo Jazzblaster (w/ bone nut, Novak WRHBs, Mastery bridge, & Staytrem collet & arm), '63 Jazzmaster (w/ Staytrem bridge), & '17 Troy Van Leuwen Jazzmaster (w/ Staytrem bridge, collet, & arm).
These "couples" can be related in many different ways, right??
How about color scheme?? These 3 are unrelated otherwise but I love the look of all three...
File this couple under doublecut, red rockers w/ wide nuts It's pretty crazy how similar these ones feel to me & they each own the trashy crunchy stuff w/ their own great twist on the same general sonic attitude:
