This was the first Falcon I ever saw. Matthew Ashman was my guitar teacher (via live bootlegs, the John Peel Sessions and the early vinyl before Adam and the Antz split to become the supergroup with the same name but a completely different lineup, and Bow Wow Wow which was the Antz fronted by a sexy teenage imp.)
Ashman had unartfully scribbled signatures and stuff on the Falcon he used in Bow Wow Wow and i remember being shocked and yet thinking at the time it was “brilliant” that he would treat something so precious so irreverently. Matthew Ashman could do no wrong in my youthful eyes. A guitar hero. RIP

Thats So cool. I guess he wasnt much for pickguards? Did you know him? I never got to meet him. They say Rocco from Flesh for Lulu ended up with his Falcon but my guess is we will never see it again. Probably got trashed somewhere along the way.
