Greetings all, my Compton Bridge came today and I was able to install it this evening and all I can say is “man, what a difference!!!!” Thanks to all those who posted a response to my question about bridge rattle and fret buzz. The Compton bridge solved the rattle problems. My guitar plays and sounds better than ever!!! Sustain and tone are just awesome now!!! I thought my guitar had mojo when I originally acquired it, but now I can truly say “it’s got mojo!!!” Here’s some pics of the new bridge

Agreed, the difference is quite alarming isn’t it. Cool guitar

It was like getting a new guitar.

Is that a new model for Compton? It doesn’t look like my Compton - it looks more like a TruArc Serpentune

I believe these were designed specifically for the pro jets with fixed mounts.

    How’s the intonation?
I’ve been considering one of these for my recently acquired G5245 Double Jet but haven’t heard any first person reports on the accuracy of intonation - and I’m picky about that.
