    Okay, many thanks for all the replies/contributions, it simply took a 5 pence coin (UK) inserted in the spring base mount to solve the issue. 20190411_095721.jpg 20190411_095658.jpg

    Great that the problem is solved. 5 pence is a really cheap fix! :D

    Glad it worked out.

    You know the penny/coin thing is something I never understood, probably because I lose my spring easier with something sitting in there.

    Yeah, I know what you mean, I would never have thought that something so thin would have increased the arm so significantly. Next time I’m in the US, I may try to source a 1” spring to have as a spare.
