My first attempt at recording with my 5420 since I installed the TV Jones pickups. (Classic/Classic Plus). Mystery Brain on, all the time of course. Fender. DRRI. Thanks for watching!

Nice playing and tone. I wish my Country Gent sounded as good on the neck pickup. Maybe I should get a deeper bodied G5420, with real/non-simulated f-holes, and some HS Filtertrons or TV Classics.

Very enjoyable to both watch and listen. I can easily watch it a second time. Actually, I will right now.

It is a different sound. I have a 6122-59 HOF. It is my best guitar. But this 5420 with the TV's comes awfully close. Good luck with what you decide!

mandobandit, Merc, new6659, Martin82, and thunder58, thanks for the nice comments, truly motivational for me. It is a song I wasn't familiar with very much, but came to really like it. So much fun to play. Thanks again.

Fantastic playing and a very nice tone! Really impressive! I‘m playin‘ the same Pickup combo in my 5420 and now I know again why this is such a great guitar and why those pickups seem to be made for the 54 Electro!
