I know we've done this before, but the June issue of The Guitar Magazine is all about artist signature models.

So, what would be the specs of your signature model?

It has to be based on models currently available on https://gretschguitars.com.

You can specify headstock, woods, fret markers, color, pickups, bridge, vibrato, knobs, strap buttons, binding, pick guard, bezels, etc...

Only Gretsch or TV Jones pickups though.

20190114_121535.jpg 20190329_155449.jpg Pretty much have mine. Only addition would be TV's Ray Butts Filtertrons.

Already have added the DE arm, Callaham string through Bigsby bar, Reverend soft spring, screwed down Bigs, and no pickguard.

Thanks. When I spotted this one, I said "feet don't fail me now", grabbed it, and home it came.

    The 55 6120 VS is perfect for me,the Cochran a close second,but i'm a boring old traditionalist .

Always dreamt of owning a vintage 1955 6120,it'll never happen now though cause i don't have that kind of disposable cash lying around these days.

The reissues are fine by me.
Wouldn't mind a Custom Shop 55 6120 though, but there is that cash flow problem again.

Supposing a hcsterg signature guitar (HaHaHa !;)) :

    - At first, she would be available in lefty in all color and finishes options !

    Otherwise, the mains features :

    - She would be based on the G5620 : thinline, single cut, center block, Cat's Eyes.
    - Balsa or Chromyte center block (to lighten the instrument).
    - Narrow headstock à la Jet, to avoid binding at the nut.
    - Old-style script Gretsch logo.
    - Non-locking Grover 18:1 mid-size tuners, or Gotoh SG381.
    - TUSQ-XL PQL-6060-L0 nut.
    - Jumbo 2.7 x 1.20mm frets
    - B7LH with bearings front roller and super squishy spring.
    - ABM or Göldo roller bridge, or Tru-Arc Serpentune bridge.
    - Master Volume, Master Tone, PU selector, possibly Tone Switch (close to the pots).
    - Pickups with connectors, offering HS FT, BT BT, DC SHT pickup sets.
    - Oval jack plate and matching thinline Gretsch TKL case (yes, @thunder58 ;)).
    - Chrome hardware (Gold hardware available).
    - Big, non-Gretsch, non-locking strap buttons.

Plus some other details concerning bindings, etc... To be studied.

    A+!

    What E-man said :)
I'd add on Sperzel locking tuners, a few different colour options and I'd prefer MIJ please.

6122 double cut junior body, hollow
Matching headstock slightly narrower than usual, towards jet size
    Zero fret
    Jumbo stainless steel frets
3 pickups, not sure which, but some mix if TVJs
    B3C bigsby with Chet arm
    Lots of binding
    Ebony fretboard
    Soft V neck(?)
    Locking tuners, not picky
    Floating bridge, Compton titanium hollow
Ideally 7lbs, maybe a little more for 3rd pickup

If I make it another year or two without buying a guitar, I just might order this.
