    Oh no!
As far as I'm aware electrode fetish is incurable, perhaps because nobody I know who "suffers" wants to give it up.

Yes I can well believe you.
The problem is that it is a highly infectious condition the severity of which increases proportionally with the extent of eye and hand contact with all manner of clamps.
Sadly, most sufferers are afflicted with this problem with regard to ALL tools, a condition known as "toolus-irrisistitis" and which unfortunately inevitably results in a continual and heavy drain on the wallet.

    Trade secrets man!

Since there's no markers, I need to keep track of the 12th fret lol. Too lazy to count every time.

So my first attempt at binding a sounds hole has mixed results. I still have to fill a little bit since the top will be black, I think it will look good.

No, the Bigsby bridge was closer to hand is all. The curved base doesn't work well with a flat top.

Markebee's known preference for black knobs here:

Got the neck bolts in place and the bridge posts drilled. Sanding and then finishing next.

Love the vintage cupcake knobs. I put the same style on my resonator.

Drilled the holes for the easy part of the electrics. Naturally had to adjust the cavity as the jack socket was a little wider than I anticipated.
Sanded everything and then it was time for ...

    Grain filling!

I can't take credit for that, Mark sent me the neck at the beginning of the build. It's a little odd in that it's Fender-style and width but Gibson scale.

Black paint on the whole pretty good but a couple of flaws jump out at me. I'd have to sand down and start over to fix them. They'll be harder to see with clear coat on though.
