Nice! Please tell us more about the pickups?
Sure. I find them to be more refined than Classics for instance. Not as raw. Smoother, cleaner. No spike-y highs or mids......sweeter. Still articulate, but more naturally compressed feeling.......so great for finger players, Chet stuff, and I really the way they take effects in a very even way which is useful for me in my worship stuff.
Plus, as for aesthetic.....I dig how they look.
What a cool idea. Makes it bling even more.
Looks really great and complete, cannot even imagine there was something else before that one.
Looks great, really ties it together. Will there be a jeweled knob on this one?
Actually, yes. It’s on order!
That's sweet, Tony! I've been meaning to place an order from Quickguards and this seals the deal for me.
Youre right about those supertrons, there is more inductance from Blade pickups. Plus they really make overdrive sing in a hollowbody, w heavy crunch if you want to go there. I like they way they push on an amp.
that gretsch is a looker with that sparkle pickguard.
This example is not the music you and I play for a living but its a great example of a non master volume amp w a clean preamp and supertrons pushing the upper mids of a tube amp for a nice twangy breakup, although not in a classic rock sense at all. Setzer's flatblack hotrod has supertrons.
and from mr lame-o here is my gretsch spectra in the bridge position, as it has a supertron bridge w pwrtron neck. I am playing it w the supertron.
My god, it's full of stars!
What about the truss rod cover?
What about a big diamond plugged right in the middle?
Do you pay extra for the logo or is that included?
Sweet!!! A marriage made in Heaven.
