Seriously. The year is already about 1/3 over and I am just getting started.

And then my giant kids whom I can barely lift anymore! My daughter wears my wife's clothes!

Unfortunately, the only way to slow down time is to do something unpleasant like lining up at the DMV.

I started counting down the days when I retired. It'll get there faster than you think.

Time is not linear, it is round...
Time is not a river, it is an ocean...

As you get older your perception of the passage of time accelerates exponentially. There are things I’ve found that will slow it down considerably. Unfortunately, most of them aren’t worth it.

Having your child in jail will slow your perception down to early childhood Christmas levels. Having a loved one deployed to a combat zone will do it. There are any number of other scenarios.

I prefer to just let it zoom on by.

On the other hand, "out for delivery" will provide some temporary relief.

    No way.
Enjoy life, enjoy what you do. Don’t waste time. Focus on the good things in life- children, love, music, beautiful things, guitars. Positive thinking. My big daughter will be ten this year and my little one, born 19 months ago, will go to the kindergarten from late summer this year. Time flies.

There definitely seems to be a hiccup in the time space continuum when you are waiting for the microwave to finish. Try watching that.
Or you can wait on hold for any one of the thousands of government departments to answer your call.
I believe that may change your perception of time.

Someone said, when you're eighteen, it feels like you have lived about half the time you're likely to (something around 70).

Hm, really, easter again ... chocolate bunnies, and these eggs made of sugar ... low-carb diet, hahahaha ... :

Read Catch-22 with particular attention to the antics of the character Dunbar, who is a master of the pursuit of boredom as a means of making time pass more slowly. And if you find the book to be boring, that can only be a plus. On the other hand, if you find it a quick and enjoyable read, then my sincerest apologies.

    Well, no, TSims...

Maybe staying once for all at the Winter hour time once for all ? (Here in France we change the time setting to +1 hour for Summer - a perfect bull**** only enjoying lazy idiot people).

    But it's me, OK ? :D

    A+!

Interesting theory (from my mother) why time seems to run faster and faster as you grow old: when you're a very young child and get from 1 year old to 2 year old, you have doubled your life's duration. When getting from 10 to 11, it's only 10% more. And so on...
Then the perception you have of a year's duration seems shorter and shorter.

I use a pedal with tap tempo to slow down time. Seems to work for me. ;)
