This guitar is made by Keith Felker and his dad Douglas in Louisville, Kentucky. I really dig it. 28 Frets! It's Keith's take on a Tele. Kingwood veneer over sugar pine.

Looks like an ergonomic model we've seen before, but with a headstock and Tele appointments.

I like it. Similar in shape to my Strandberg style build that Jesse did for me.

I like it. Except for long scale, too much tension, meaning harder to bend and play possibly. whole point of a tele, for me is ease of bending/vibrato. How many notes do you need ynwigie? no thanks. Also rail pick ups? not my fav. Love the wood and original take on look of the body however.

I see a little Klein in it too. I guess designing for ergonomics leads toward a certain body shape. Is the Strandberg comfortable to play?

Scale length is stated as standard Fender scale of 25.5". I've been told it's shorter than a Strat when compared side by side. I think the reduced body size deceives the eye a little. Weighs just over 6 lbs.

I like it . Cross between a Tele and an Ovation Breadwinner . Different . He's not around anymore , but I bet @DrumBob would appreciate it . He always is one for the " weird and wacky " . But to me this one is more like " cool and different " .... go for it

    Don’t love it.

Reminds of a bit of the Carvin Holdsworth model after a long sloppy night on the town. ;)

It's a "meh" for me. I don't love it, and I don't hate it. It just wouldn't be the first guitar I'd take down off the wall at a music store.

While theoretically there are endless ways to design an ergonomic guitar, in reality they all do tend to have similar features.

Other makers include Mike Sankey, Rick Canton, Victor Baker, Chris Forshage.

The design I'm working on combines parts of several of them.

I believe the common cutout on the bottom is to support classical style players who choose to sit. That commonality may cause the other similarities.
