Hockey players are thugs carrying sticks.
Well that was fun! Double OT, the kids have no quit in them. Too bad about Polak, that weakens an already suspect defence. Anyway, Golf Caps Golf!
Nice win. Both games could have gone either way. Nice to see them hanging with such a skilled Caps team.
As a former Leafs fan now Habs supporter, there was nothing that I liked more than to see the sorry Leafs lose but I have to admit that it looks like you have the real thing this year.
Congrats on a big win. The team looks good.
Haha! Guitar players are thugs carrying thicker sticks!
I think the Leafs are pretty fun to watch. ...I can't believe I said that out loud!
Overtime!!! I really shouldn't get this worked up.
See ya later, 'Hawks....
Oilers in the second round!
Looking forward to tonight, every game so far decided by 1 goal, only one game didn't go to overtime.
They have been fun to watch. Close games all the way.
I really hope the Oilers take out the Ducks as well... not because I'm an Oilers fan, but because I can't stand the Ducks or the Sharks.
Would love to see Nashville and Edmonton in the Western Conference final.
Well it was a quick out for us (Habs)...
Maybe we'll get a chance to see P.K. more now (Chicago-Nashville was pretty much ignored here on the Canadian east coast).
My other team, the Bruins, took a powder today... So from here on out it's "Go Preds" for the duration. Been growing my playoff beard since day one of series 1... If the Preds go all the way I'm gonna look like Grizzly Adams by the time they hoist the cup!
Or Brett Burns!
Geez... he could have at least kept his upper plate in for the pic!
Sorry man. It was a good series though.
Yeah, it was.
A 26-point leap in the standings during the regular season, jumped from last place in the NHL to the postseason, gained some playoff experience for the Rookies, and nearly beat the best team in hockey... with all six games of their series decided by a goal. All positive signs.
I see Chicago made a move to address why they lost the series in 4. They fired assistant coach Mike Kitchen. Yep, it's all his fault. Stanley Cup assured next year! :-D
Well.. my Oilers stole one tonight. I'll take it.
