You really are getting very good David. Nicely done.
Another fantastic build!
Starting the nitro spraying. Hoping for better results this time
Wet sanding the nitro this morning. Appreciating to single piece ash body as well as the spalted maple.
You've obviously got the hang of a nitro finish.
It's my second attempt lol.
Using catalyzed nitro that fully cures in 24-36 hours. Amazing stuff.
What a beauty!!
So the body is done now. Pickups work like they should. Got a little behind doing the neck for some reason. Still finishing it and have to level the frets and stuff.
It looks amazing. Beautiful work!
I can't stop staring at it lol. There's a cool 3D 'Wave' in the spalt.
The top is cool. But man, I'm in love with everything about that one piece body.
Plugged the USB in but it was already fully charged. Set up the evertune and gave it a few strums. This pickup set is amazing.
Super Tele tones and zero hum.
That looks delicious, David! Probably my favorite of your builds so far!
Best tele pickups
That looks terrific, Eman. Great job!
Well, this one has taken a bit of a left turn. I actually would have liked to keep this one a while and it plays and sounds so great.
But my old school buddy (and first bandmate) in the UK wants it, only he prefers maple fingerboards. So I'm gonna build another neck for it and ship it out. At least it'll be 100% CITES-proof.
He's in a country band in the UK, which in itself is a little odd. I asked him if he'd like the bands name on the fretboard and he jumped at it.
I saw a guy on Facebook saying he can do this stuff easily so I got hold of him.
He knocked this out overnight.
Charged me less than $50 including shipping. Those are inlays and not stickers, board is at 9.5 radius and he says they are deep enough to go 7.25.
I'm just amazed. Full report when it arrives.
It looks so great. Wonderful design.
Fret board looks great. Do you know if the letter inlay was done via cnc router?
50 bucks? Long live CNC!
Since it took like 30 minutes to make the letters and inlay them, I'd say yeah.
