No one, and I mean NO one in Australia drinks Fosters...
I guess I'm not too fussy when beer is involved
There aren't many Australian beers on sale now in UK. Castlemain 4xxxx disappeared a while ago. We could never get Crown anyhow. Never seen Tooheys either, nor VB. And never seen any of that Tasmanian stuff (or is that Tooheys ?). I am very happy to hear recommendations and please feel free to send me anything you think I should try.
Try Cascade or James Boags from Tasmania or Coopers (brewed in the bottle) from South Australia. Fosters and VB are loaded with preservatives and give me a nasty headache.
Not of me, but of my latest acquisition. PRS SE Custom 24

Most loved and performed w.. my 99' G6120SSU w Setzer Sigs & TK Smith pickguard, refretted w stainless 6105 by Fender Master builder, Paul Waller.
I have same guitar, but did you install the Bigsby? what model? with a Towner bar?
Yes, I installed the Bigsby B6 with the Towner BIGSBY B7, B6 and B3 TOWNER Hinge Plate Adaptor.
The towner system work perfect and you don't need to make any hole in the guitar.
All I did was cut a bit the bigsby because his size at the bottom was too big for the Gibson 335
This is how it looks like with the Bigsby:

I will endeavour to follow your advice.
Is it like Heineken? NO one in the Netherlands drinks Heineken...
No one in my circle in the US does either
I'm not sure you can even buy Fosters here.. I drink quite a bit of beer, for research purposes, and I've not seen it for sale in decades..
I never liked VB ( Victorian Beer tee hee hee ) as I found it too bitter. VB drinkers tell me they see XXXX ( we can't spell beer in Queensland ) or Fourex the same way.
In a bottle ( cans, shudder... ) mmm, not that much of a fan of either. On tap Fourex Gold isn't too bad.
I quite like a Toohey's Extra Dry ( TED ) oddly I found the SuperTed they made which was stronger not so great.
Mostly I drink Corona, Dos Equis but not for a while, Pacifico is nice for a change but hard to find, I like Asahi in all it's variants. PBR I like but I usually get really smashed drinking too much of it.
Have not had a Newcastle Brown for a while, Brit friends warned me i'd end up in a carpark at 2:00 am with my pants around my ankles throwing punches at myself but I never experienced that. Oddly, it's as dear as poison here..
As if my sagging, unshaven mug doesn't already say it, I'm having a very groggy Wednesday afternoon after a late night rehearsal and way too much morning work here at the studio. Newish G6128T-DCM working overtime on my behalf to put a smile on my face!
A few varieties of tasty Coopers here in Korea too...Just don't ingest too much of the yeast settlement (one can expect the nether-tummy to go gurlge-gurlge)
GIVE ME THAT GUITAR. I have a feeling that's the one I need. Double cut, no mudswitch......perfect.
Filtertrons with tone knob is an unusual combination in Gretschland, but it works.
My DCM has been modified with TVJ Duo-Trons.
I know and I WANT IT. If you were my REAL friend you would want me to be happy!!
What is this "mudswitch" that everyone speaks of?
