    I remember a story of a kid riding his bike in a field and didn't see the tines of a hay rake sticking out farther than the machine. He rode right into it one of the tines went right between his eyes and impacted the back of his skull. He pushed himself off and rode home. Obviously, he got to the doctor eventually and although it went right down the center of his brain it didn't seem to cause any damage that they could tell at the time. Crazy stuff happens.I used to fix medical equipment in Riverside and San Bernardino counties and some LA county hospitals. The crazy stuff that would come rolling in while I was there was sometimes twilight zone-ish. @drmilktruck being a doc I bet you have some real doozies stories yourself!

    Unbelieveable. Obviously there was a very dependable guardian angel around.
