Seen the Reverend last night. Another show where the artist never disappoints and lays it out there. The new drummer can really swing a stick and has fun doin it. 20190823_232830.jpg

I'll bet it was great! I need to get out and see The Reverend again, been too long. Not hitting Detroit again until the end of November. A couple shows 80 and 125 miles away in early October.

I would love to see the Rev. He has done some small venues in Australia in 2013 and 2016 but I missed him both times, my loss.

I've been watching their tour dates for ... like two years or so ... only two were in europe in that time, which kind of sucks, but you can't even think of thinking they're lazy - constantly gigging somewhere in the 3 digits zone each year.

Guess it will fit some day. Hope it will.

I got to talk to jimbo and we were talking about living in Texas and living on the road and how much they were gone.

They LIVE and LOVE their work.

Hope you get the chance to see them.

Yeah, that's something I think I even hear in the (live) recordings. The Live at the Fillmore is one of my favourite CDs of the ~1500 I have, because it sounds like they really have fun doing something making the evening fun to another few thousand people...

Hope so, too - that would really, really be great, as a concert is a totally different story than an album or live recording.

There even are bands I do love to go see them and never miss, whose albums I hardly ever listen to. Like Hundred Seventy Split (kind of the remains of Ten Years After).
