5120, All dressed up for a night on the town

    Well I think I am done....for now. Anyway here is the final list of mods on my 5120

    Harness.....vintage shielded push back.
    Pots.....Gibson replacement 500k A.
    Cap.... .022uf
    Jack....Pro Co.
    Jack plate....Gibson
    Tuners.....Sperzel locking
    Strap Locks....Dunlop
    Pickups....GFS Surf 90's
    Bridge.....Compton Aluminum (thank you Jim!!!)
    Bridge base was matched to body contour, Violin bow rosin added to feet.

    Custom made BWB pick guard, made by Sarah. Thank you Sarah very nice work. I think the black pick guard really makes this guitar look classy.

    I dig the understated cool of that pickguard. The white line makes it pop. Better than the stock pickguard.:)

    How is that .022 cap working for you?

    Thanks everybody! I must say, all the mod ideas and advice I got from right here on this forum. Now this Korean made guitar is one of my favorite guitars I have ever owned.

    Thank you very much! When he said he wanted a B/W/B pickguard on a black guitar I could see it in my mind and thought it was going to look extra special. It looks so natural. :)
