OK since I got my Jupiter reissue. I want to more reissues. A 1448 Samick Silvertone reissue and a Harmony made reissue made in the 2000's. Should I get both or what?

Couldn’t you find an original Silvertone or Harmony for the same money?

I like the first one. Anything without the ubiquitous homogenizing tuna-matic piques my interest.

No and I would not want them. Vintage is too high and not made great. The reissue like my Jupiter is amazing and under 300 dollars.

Ah well, that makes sense. I fully expected them to be 5-600 bucks!

Yeah, the price on the old one's has gone nuts.

Hmm, I especially like the Harmony. Lots of interest lately in those foil top pups. Any idea what the necks are like?

If budget allows, spring for both, but me? I'd grab the Harmony first.

The first one looks great the second trying too hard.

Get both! I love my silvertone Jupiter and very happy for your original post which prompted my purchase! I didn't know they have a reissued stratotone or is that an original vintage model?

I can tell you the neck is C" shape and feels great! The scale length is a bit shorter so you can go a gauge higher than what you're use to and get the same feel. My only critical thing to say about mine is the "blender control" is sort of lame, might just need a different capacitor.
That said, great guitars for the price!

A reissue not made in a real long time. Early 2000's. They pop up from time to time.
