The data collected by Ed Ball (Wayne Gretschky) has recalibrated serial numbers to be a little later than previously supposed, but yes, I would think late '63 or early '64 would be about right. When he publishes his '60s book, it should be clearer.
Well I hope we’ll find some more info somehow.
