Are you sure that blue wasn't an original Gretsch color? It looks familiar.

Well... if you were looking for someone with experience in making conversion models, Art Wiggs was the right guy (cough-cough). Personally, I collect blue guitars an finding a vintage Jet in that blue green color would have made me throw a LOT of money at you! Just as well it's gone now.
The black pickguard suggests the model might have been a 6131 Jet Firebird ('62-65). Might you have the serial number still? I think it's critical to document the serial number for any conversion guitar so if it pops up later on the secondary market it will be clear what the guitar is.

Wow, very very pretty, I agree with Wayne though, if that was an original blue I would have killed for it.. Nice job regardless, Art IS the man!
