I was hoping you could answer a quick question for me. I'd like to get a Tru-Arc bar to replace the existing space control on a G6129T (with Bigsby).
On the order page here - http://shop.f-holes.co.uk/Tru-Arc_Ba...09_408539.aspx - there are two options for 'spacing', which is Standard, or Bigsby Compensated. Do all bigsby-equipped guitars automatically have a bigsby-compensated bridge, and therefore need the compensated spacing, or is it not that simple?
Bigbsy Compensated refers to a whole different bridge.
This is from the link you posted:
"The Bigsby Compensated option is ONLY for guitars that have a Bigsby compensated bridge, as these have slightly narrower post spacing than standard Gretsch bridge bases. If you guitar does not have a Bigsby compensated bridge you do not need to add this option."
